This Starline bus tour may go down in history as the best bus ride ever given in history.

Last night during the Academy Awards ceremony in Los Angeles, Jimmy Kimmel let the crowd in on a little secret – they were all about to play a rousing prank on a bus full of tourists who would be unsuspectingly entering the Dolby Theater at any second.

When the tourists entered the theater, their faces looked flabbergasted. All while trying to take as many cell phone pictures of the celebrities as possible, the group was led to the front of the theater.

Kimmel set about introducing some of the newcomers to such celebrities as Ryan Gosling and Nicole Kidman. One couple from Chicago – who said that they were soon engaged to be married – happened to mention that Denzel Washington was their favorite actor.

In honor of the special occasion, Denzel decided to simply marry the couple on the spot.

“He’s Denzel, so it’s legal,” Kimmel said.

In a chart-topping gesture of kindness and generosity, beloved talk show host Ellen Degeneres presented this graduating high school class of 41 students with free college scholarships.

Earlier this month, Ellen brought two educators, Natasha Campbell and Cheryl Swift, from the Summit Academy of Brooklyn, New York onto her show for an interview. The teachers explained that they have strived to send every one of their students to college. Though this may seem like a basic school mission, it’s more difficult in an area where 28% of children under 16 live in poverty and only 4% of the adults have been to college.

So in solidarity with the school’s mission, Ellen teamed up with Walmart and presented the school with a $25,000 check to continue educating children living below the poverty line.

The generosity didn’t stop there, however – Ellen brought the entire class back onto the show a few weeks later and presented them with full four-year college scholarships.

If you want to see their reactions, be sure to grab a box of tissues first.

Skipping his middle school class was a small price to pay for Nathan Testa to see the Boss in concert – especially when he was invited to play a duet on stage with the musician himself.

The 15-year-old resident of Brisbane, Australia brandished a sign at the show reading: “Missed school… now can I play ‘Growin’ Up’ with you?”

When Bruce Springsteen spotted the written plea, he invited the teen up on stage and fulfilled his special request.

Testa made headlines in 2011 when he first played “Waitin’ on a Sunny Day” with Springsteen as an 11-year-old. This most recent time around, however, he was given a special lesson on how to properly stand like a rock star to go with his performance.
